my art my math
May 10, 2007A 100 years ago (or what it seems so), a teacher of mine said to me (while painting)“I like this banana yellow you have there” and by only those words he changed my life he turned it upside down, you see that was the first time in my whole life a teacher (or anybody) complemented my work, after that complement I had to do good I couldn’t let him down and I had to put my heart and soul in it, I just had to.
Its amazing that this teacher (who I owe my life and art to) does not even remember me or even know who I’m, but it doesn’t matter, what matters is that action those words he said and there effect on me, I just couldn’t help but wondering what if my math teacher said something like that to me after spending a whole day trying to do my home work in the 4th grade, what if instead of degrading me in front of the class and calling me names because I had 1 out 4 questions wrong, maybe that’s why since the 5th grade I didn’t do a single homework, not one homework, its amazing the effect of people on other people lives, and maybe we should always think of what we say to others, and maybe just maybe if we appreciate each other, the world would be a better place

Yes, a lot of our geniuses and modern day heroes were encouraged by their mothers or teachers, who brought out the best in them.
Words of kindness goes a long long way indeed!
